We offer a complete transfer service where you choose how to arrive and we take care of all the logistics, ensuring your journey is simple, safe, and hassle-free, taking you directly to your selected vessel or island.
🚐 Departure from Panama City
The transfer to Guna Yala (San Blas) starts early. Around 5:00 AM, an authorized 4×4 vehicle will pick you up from your hotel or accommodation in the city.
👥 Transport Options
The most common option is shared transport, with capacity for up to 6 people per vehicle. However, you can also book a private transfer if you prefer more comfort and flexibility.
⛽ Stop Along the Way
During the journey there is a stop at a gas station, where you can use the restroom, buy drinks, snacks, or have a light breakfast.
⚠️ Important Recommendation
Avoid eating too much before the trip. The route continues through a mountain road with many curves, which can cause motion sickness if you are sensitive.
🕘 Arrival at the Port
The journey takes approximately 3.5 to 4.5 hours, depending on Panama City traffic. In most cases, you will arrive at Cartí port around 9:00 to 9:30 AM.
🚤 Boat Transfer
From there, you will board a shared boat that will take you to your island or vessel. Additionally, you can opt for a private boat service if preferred.
🌊 During the Ride
The sea tends to be choppy and it is normal for the boat to splash water. Therefore, we recommend protecting your luggage with waterproof bags or large garbage-type bags.
🎒 Luggage
We suggest traveling light. During your stay you will mainly wear swimwear, so you can leave the rest of your bags at your hotel in the city. Moreover, many hotels offer this storage service, sometimes for a small fee.
