Your trip in the hands of experts

Behind Trip on Boats are two people who know these waters like the back of their hands. Stellie and Exequiel didn’t just found this company: they have lived on these catamarans, sailed every corner of Guna Yala, and personally offered this experience for years.

Both worked as crew members, hosts, and guides, which gave them a unique perspective: they knew exactly what it took to create a flawless, authentic, and hassle-free experience. Every detail of this service comes from experience, not theory.

They know every captain, every boat, and every route personally. That’s why they only offer catamarans they trust and experiences they have tried themselves. This level of knowledge not only guarantees quality: it provides peace of mind.

Trip on Boats is more than an agency. It is the result of years of life at sea, respect for the Guna culture, and a commitment to a standard that truly delivers on its promises. Here, natural luxury meets authenticity, and your experience begins with the confidence of being in expert hands.

STELLY ZAMBRANO

Stelly, founder of Trip On Boats, is a sailor who has traveled thousands of miles across the Caribbean, the Pacific, and the Mediterranean. In Guna Yala, she found more than just a destination: she found a deep connection with the Guna culture.

After living with the community, she formed genuine bonds that now inspire every voyage. Her mission is to offer authentic experiences that combine sailing with respect for local traditions.

EXEQUIEL TESURE

Exequiel is an experienced captain and strategic partner at Trip on Boats, with extensive sailing experience throughout the Caribbean and Mediterranean.

His leadership ensures safety, first-class service, and smooth sailing, making him a key asset in delivering exceptional experiences in the unique waters of Guna Yala.

GUNA YALA LOCAL PARTNERS

At Trip on Boats, we don’t do this alone. Everything you experience on board is possible thanks to our partnerships with the Guna communities: leaders, families, fishermen, transporters, and guardians of the sea. They guide us, supply us with fresh fish, help us move between islands, and open the doors of their territory to us with respect and generosity.

This isn’t just tourism, it’s real collaboration. Each experience is born from a relationship based on trust, fair exchange, and admiration for their culture. We don’t come here to impose anything, we come to learn, share, and contribute. Together, we build a more humane, more authentic travel model that truly leaves a positive mark on the local community.”
