Frequently asked questions

We have 4×4 transportation that picks you up from your accommodation in the city and takes you to the port in Guna Yala. The trip takes about 2.5 hours by road, followed by a 30-40 minute boat ride to the catamaran. We coordinate everything. It’s not included, but you can pay in cash on the day of your pickup.

Includes your accommodations on the catamaran, all meals, water, coffee, tours, basic activities (such as snorkeling and paddleboarding), daily island hopping, and a crew for personalized attention. We also help with transportation if needed.

It depends on the boat, but we handle small groups: from 2 people to a maximum of 12. We can also combine two boats if your group is larger and you want to share the experience.

Both options are available. If you’re looking for something more intimate, you can book a private cabin sharing the boat with other travelers. You can also charter the entire boat for just you and your group.

Fresh, delicious, and tropical cuisine. Fish of the day, rice dishes, fruits, salads, and Caribbean touches. Everything is prepared on board with local ingredients. Nothing fancy, but tasty and plentiful. We offer private chef services, offered on luxury catamarans, where the gastronomic experience is a major highlight.

Yes, just let us know in advance so we can adapt the menu to your preferences or dietary needs.

Signal strength is limited and depends on your operator. The idea here is to disconnect a bit. There's no Wi-Fi, but there is a real connection to nature and yourself. Some vessels have Starlink onboard, but it's not a guaranteed service. However, if a constant internet connection is important to you, let us know in advance to ensure your preference.

The essentials: light clothing, a swimsuit, a towel, biodegradable sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses, natural repellent, a flashlight, sandals, and a relaxed attitude. You don’t need a large suitcase or closed-toe shoes. And don’t forget to bring your passport or ID card to enter the indigenous reserve, as well as cash, as there are no ATMs on the islands.

Yes, you can. Some boats are more family-friendly, especially if your children can swim or are used to navigating in small spaces. Ask us, and we’ll guide you accordingly.

Of course! Almost all of our boats have snorkeling equipment, paddleboards, floats, and beach games, so you can enjoy the sea however you want.

The cabins are comfortable but compact, cabin-style. They have a double or twin bed, ventilation, and luggage space. Bathrooms are shared or private, depending on the boat. Fresh water is limited, but sufficient for a crew shower.

We continue sailing if it’s safe to do so. If there’s a strong storm or conditions that prevent departure, we’ll find the best alternative for you to enjoy your stay on board. Your safety and comfort come first. However, the weather isn’t something that can be guaranteed or assured. These effects are beyond the control of both parties.

Of course! Birthdays, anniversaries, proposals… We’ve done it all. We can help you with decorations, cakes, special dinners, or whatever you’re dreaming of. Tell us your idea and we’ll put it together. Our partner, Dummad, will take care of all the necessary logistics so that your event and celebration aren’t just a worry for you, but rather just another guest.

Yes, although limited. Most boats have solar panels or a generator. We recommend bringing external batteries and charging sparingly.

Very safe. We work with experienced captains, know the area, and navigate in optimal conditions. Furthermore, Guna Yala is one of the most peaceful and respected regions in Panama.

With two nights, you can experience several islands and magical moments. But if you have three or more, even better: more sailing, more disconnection, and more connection with nature. More than five nights will give you a true sense of disconnection and total connection with Guna Yala, the locals, and their islands. You’ll love this experience for longer.

Yes, you can bring whatever you like. Many travelers bring their favorite wine, snacks, or beers. Some ships already have a bar included; please ask us based on your reservation.

It’s like a cross between camping at sea and sleeping in a floating boutique hotel. It rocks gently, the sounds of the sea make it so peaceful, and it feels so calm. Perfect for unwinding.

A lot. We work with Guna families for transportation, fishing, logistics, and direct support. Each visit generates income for them and strengthens the local economy through fairness, respect for nature, and adaptation to their cultures. All our supplies are generated by locals.

Yes and no. We sail according to the weather, the tide, and what’s available. But we always take you to beautiful, less touristy islands, and if you have a preference, we’ll take it into account.
